Essential Theatre will be performing an edgy and entertaining performance of Macbeth where you will be taken on a journey as the sun sets, the dark night sets in and the witches come out to play!

The cast of eight professional actors will take you on the thrilling and dark journey that is Macbeth. 

Tempted by the prophecies of three mysterious witches, and encouraged by his power hungry wife, Macbeth will do anything to be King.  He is quickly lead into a nightmarish world of evil and deceit as he tries to murder his way to the throne of Scotland.  Shakespeare's rousing tragedy is filled with ferocious battles, supernatural horrors, stunning language, and some of the Bard's most vivid characters.

From a time where people are hooked on Game of Thrones and Black Mirror, where political ambition drives decisions at any cost, Essential Theatre take it back to where it all began with this iconic character.  Macbeth promises to be raw, edgy and entertaining.
