Nose & Colour: Lifted pepper and spice characters with ripe plum and hints of licorice.
Palate: Ripe conditions in 05 produced a shiraz with excellent depth and length of flavour. Fine tannins and subtle toasted characters from 1 and 2 year old French oak add structure complementing the rich full flavours.
Vineyards: Picked from vineyards in the Mt Barker and Foreston areas of the Adelaide Hills.
Food Suggestions: Pepper steak and chips or homemade beef and mushroom pie. |
