Colour and Nose: Dark crimson and violet with lifted aromas of fresh dark berries.

Palate: A medium bodied wine with soft, supple richness, which is balanced by the light use of old and new French oak to give the wine length of flavour. Raspberry and hints of earthiness provide further complexity to this wine. A very enjoyable drinking red. Cellar for 3 - 4 years, but drinking well now.

Vineyards:Picked from our cool climate family vineyard in Manjimup , Western Australia . The soils are well drained loamy gravel soils.

Food Suggestions: Enjoy this wine with your favourite pasta. Chill on a summers day and drink at lunch with salt and pepper squid or baked fish.
