Nose: Hints of gooseberry and lychee add complexity to lifted citrus and tropical fruit aromas.
Palate: Partial barrel ferment in 3 yr old French oak has added a creamy fullness to the palate, balancing the soft citrus finish. Honey and nectar flavours add richness and length. This is a full bodied Sauvignon with excellent depth and persistence of flavour.
Vineyards: Picked from our cool climate family vineyard in Lenswood district of the Adelaide Hills. The soils are draining broken pod soils over schist. |
