Powerful notes of spice from both the pinot noir fruit and the use of oak barrels for ageing the reserves. This wine shows layers of complexity, with preserved cherry and raspberry aromas and baked apple tarte with hints of cinnamon. The palate is textural, fine and long. Low dosage showcases the powerful line that the addition of chardonnay to the blend brings.
Lifted spice and white floral aromas over fresh raspberry and cherry notes. The ageing of a small proportion of the reserve wine in oak barrel adds texture and body to the palate, complementing the powerful pinot noir the region of Bouzy produces.
