Hosted masterclass exploring the nuances between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and the sense of place between the terroir of the Adelaide Hills and Bouzy in Champagne.
Pinot Noir and Meunier give the Altair power and riper red fruit aromas, and citrus lift and finesse from the Chardonnay. The addition of multi-vintage reserve wines adds depth and complexity. The fine, creamy mousse complements the peach and citrus characters.
A crisp aperitif-style sparkling with aromas of brioche, pears, sliced apples and raw walnuts. Low dosage with fine bubbles and a focussed, fresh finish.
Beltana is produced using 100% Chardonnay grapes selected from the cool, high altitude slopes in the Adelaide Hills. The finest parcels with the greatest ageing potential are selected to make the Beltana, which is one of our ‘Small Batch Series’ wines.
Our late disgorged Altair has been ageing on lees in our museum cellar, developing toasty complexity for this special release. Low dosage lets the citrus notes shine through to give a fresh and lingering finish.
A fresh and lively Sauvignon Blanc with punchy aromatics, sweet pea and pear with lemon blossom and green apple on the palate and fresh minerality to finish.
A complex and layered palate with chalky minerality, white nectarines, fresh lemon blossom and precise natural acidity. Toasty notes of macadamia nuts and a dry, textural finish.
An exceptional vintage producing a wine with plum, spice and cherry aromas. The palate has soft, ripe fruit characters balanced by fine tannins and incredible length.
The vintage conditions of 2009 were ideal for ripening Shiraz in the Adelaide Hills, giving excellent depth and length of flavor, yet retaining signature pepper and spice characters on the nose.
