Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Matured in French oak (25% new). Just bottled and this little gem is looking and delivering the goods already. Mid red and cloudy, it's delicate in fragrance, supple in texture and what spice on the palate! Smart winemaking here. Light use of whole bunches brings an added complexity and interest throughout, combined with the plummy, cherry-filled drink-now pleasure that carbonic maceration brings. All up, a carefully managed youngster with time on its hands. Jeni Port for Halliday 12/4/2022
Food Pairing Notes
Duck, roasted mushrooms
