The vintage conditions of 2009 were ideal for ripening Shiraz in the Adelaide Hills, giving excellent depth and length of flavor, yet retaining signature pepper and spice characters on the nose.
Lifted spice and white floral aromas over fresh raspberry and cherry notes. The ageing of a small proportion of the reserve wine in oak barrel adds texture and body to the palate, complementing the powerful pinot noir the region of Bouzy produces.
Pure chardonnay showing the finesse this grape brings. Citrus and floral notes combine with delicious brioche and sweet pastry aromas. The palate is alive, with lemon zest flavours and, lingering, moorish acidity.
Translating to ‘instant’, the vintage Instantanée cuvée has been produced annually, since 1995, to showcase a ‘snapshot’ of each year, highlighting the unique character of each year along with the work of the grower and winemaker.
